How we work

We don't start with technology. We start with what's stopping your business from growing — and we stop at whichever step actually solves it.

What's free, and what isn't

Free — the First Take.

Your form answers, read by a person. A short written diagnosis: where hours are leaking, rough size, one fix to act on this week. One email, one reply. No newsletter, no sales sequence.

Paid — everything with a deliverable.

The Assessment (fixed scope, fixed price — quoted before anything starts), team training, building, and running. If we don't think the paid step is worth it for you, the First Take will say so.

Step 1

Assess

The Assessment picks up where your free First Take ends — same findings, now with the full prescription. We sit down with you and your team and map how work actually flows through your business: enquiries, quotes, scheduling, follow-ups, reporting, the spreadsheet someone updates by hand every Friday.

Then we draw a clear line. Some tasks are repetitive enough that AI should take them over. Others involve judgment, relationships, or risk — those must stay human, and we say so explicitly. You get a concrete, prioritized roadmap you can act on with us or without us.

No black boxes. You'll understand every recommendation.

What you get

  • A map of how work actually flows through your business today
  • A clear line: what to hand to AI, and which decisions stay human
  • A prioritized roadmap with rough effort and expected impact for each item
  • An honest list of what not to build — with reasons
Step 2

Enable

Most AI training teaches theory that nobody uses the following Monday. We train your team on your real work — your actual enquiries, documents, and processes — so what they learn on day one is what they use on day two.

Your staff learn to use AI tools, but also to question and correct them: when to trust an output, when to check it, and how to fix it when it's wrong. We also help the team converge on shared practices, so five people stop using ChatGPT five different ways.

We leave capability, not dependency.

What you get

  • Hands-on training sessions built around your team's actual tasks
  • Shared working practices: prompts, checklists, and review habits
  • Honest guidance on which tools fit your work — and which don't
  • A follow-up plan so the new habits stick after the sessions end
Step 3

Build & Run

When the assessment shows something genuinely worth building, we build it — a focused system that removes a specific bottleneck, not a platform you didn't ask for. We keep the scope small enough that you can see exactly what it does and why.

Every delivery includes documentation your team can actually read, training on running the system day to day, and clear rules for when a human steps in. Then we hand your team the keys. If you need us afterwards, we're here — but you shouldn't need us for the system to keep working.

Your team can run it after we leave.

What you get

  • A working system aimed at one clear bottleneck
  • Documentation and training so your team operates it themselves
  • Explicit escalation rules: when the system defers to a human
  • A handover, not a subscription to our attention

Questions we hear a lot

Do we need to be technical to work with you?

No. If you can describe how work flows through your business — who does what, where things pile up — that's all we need. We explain every recommendation in plain business terms, and we don't hide behind jargon. If you can't understand a recommendation, that's our failure, not yours.

What if we only want training, not software?

That's a common and often correct choice. For many businesses, the best next step is a more capable team, not a new system. Some clients stop after the assessment, some after training — we consider both good outcomes, not failed sales. We'll never push you up the ladder for our sake.

Will this replace our staff?

No — and we'd tell you if that's what you were really asking for, because it's not what we do. Our goal is the same team handling more business, not fewer people. We optimize capability per employee, not cost per employee: AI takes the repetitive load, and your people keep the judgment, the relationships, and the decisions.

How much data do we need before an AI agent can work?

Less than you'd think — because it isn't "training" in the machine-learning sense. You give the agent your rules, policies, and knowledge: opening hours, services, prices, how you handle common situations. It answers from that. Start with what you have; what matters is that it's consistent and kept up to date, not that it's big.

How do you prevent hallucinations — the AI making things up?

By design, the agent answers only from the content your business gives it. When a question falls outside that content, or the answer is uncertain, it doesn't guess — it hands the conversation to a human, with context. We'd rather the AI say "let me get a person" than sound confident and be wrong.

Will our data be used to train AI models?

No. Your data is used to answer your customers' questions, and that's it. Nothing you give us is used to train models — ours or anyone else's — and it isn't shared across clients. Your business knowledge stays your business.

What does an assessment cost and how long does it take?

Asking costs nothing — tell us about your business through the contact form and we'll reply by email with an honest first take, plus the current assessment fee and timeline, before you commit to anything. The assessment itself is small and fixed-scope by design: you'll know exactly what you're paying for and what you'll receive before it starts.
